Terrafirma Training Limited are not only offering training for companies and organisations in professional 4×4 off road driving courses, but also look after newcomers to the 4×4 world and those wanting to learn more about their 4×4 vehicles.

Whether you drive a Skoda Yeti on the ‘school run’ or your daily drive is a top of the range Range Rover, Terrafirma Training can help you to understand the myriad of new dials, levers and buttons found in the majority of 4×4 vehicles.

We offer an informal one day’s training, where you can bring along your own 4×4 vehicle which you would like to become better acquainted with. Our instructors, who will guide you through the day, will instruct in plain English and not in technical jargon.  We are the only Land Based Training Awards (Lantra) accredited 4×4 off road centre within the Republic of Ireland and are also City & Guilds Assessors in 4×4 off road driver training techniques (equivalent to FETAC level 5).

The day starts with meet and greet over a leisurely cup of tea or coffee. Followed by the following topics:

• Driver and vehicle safety
• A walk around your vehicle
• Vehicle specific controls/features
• Pre-use check
• 4×4 – the environment and responsible driving
• Basic 4×4 vehicle driving techniques
• Your questions and our answers session

Courses are limited and booking is highly recommended.  These courses are run on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.  A light lunch will be provided.

Please note: safety is paramount at all times. This course is non-damaging to vehicles. Terrafirma Training’s vehicles may be used, upon request.
